Brett Gibson is a seasoned venture capitalist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Managing Partner, General Partner, and Partner at Initialized Capital since May 2017, Brett also co-founded Posthaven, a platform for easy blogging, in March 2013. Previous roles include software development at Y Combinator from March 2014 to October 2015, and co-founding Posterous, a simple email blogging platform acquired by Twitter, in June 2009. Brett's entrepreneurial journey began with co-founding Slinkset in January 2008, which was funded by Y Combinator and later acquired by Posterous. Earlier career experiences include positions at Sonific, LLC, and Grand Central Communications, complemented by a BA in Philosophy from UC Santa Barbara.
