Afaf Makarious has extensive experience in the field of technical management, currently serving as the Senior Global Technical Manager for the Delivery Systems business at Ingredion Incorporated since 1999, while also fulfilling the role of Global Technical Leader for Beverage Emulsion. With a significant tenure at National Starch since 1998, Afaf Makarious is recognized as the Global Technical Lead in the Delivery Systems Group, specializing in OSA-starch products, beverage emulsification, and flavor encapsulation. Afaf Makarious has also taken on the responsibility of Technical Owner for a strategic project aimed at defending and growing the Delivery Systems emulsion business and supporting global product launches. Afaf Makarious holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Alexandria University, earned between 1984 and 1988.
