Nils Ottesen is a seasoned professional in the hydropower and renewable energy sector with extensive management experience. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Indar Hydro in Norway since February 2019, Nils has previously held positions such as Senior Advisor at Enestor and Managing Director roles at GE Renewable Energy, Alstom Renewable Norway AS, and Rainpower. Nils also contributed to significant projects as Manager at GE Energy, including leading a consortium for the Nam Theun 2 Hydro Power Plant in Laos. Nils’s career began at Kværner, where roles evolved from Technical Manager to Vice President Manufacturing. Nils holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from NKI and has studied History at the University of Oslo.
