Laia Domingo, PhD, is currently the Chief Science Officer at Ingenii, where they focus on accelerating quantum adoption within life sciences and works on quantum machine learning. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Quantum Machine Learning Scientist at Ingenii. Laia also has experience as a Doctoral Researcher at ICMAT, where they conducted research in the field of artificial intelligence and mathematics for quantum physics. Laia has also worked as a Data Scientist at Accenture and as a Data Analyst at CELSA GROUP. Laia has further research experience as a Junior Research Fellow at the Mathematical department UAB and as a Student Internship at the Centre de Recerca Matemàtica. Laia's early work experience includes a Summer Fellow position at ICFO.

Laia Domingo, PhD, obtained their Master's degree in Fundamental Principles of Data Science from Universitat de Barcelona in 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a double bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2014 to 2019. Laia also holds additional certifications including being a member of Nova Talent since March 2021, receiving the "la Caixa" Foundation Fellows recognition in January 2020, and obtaining a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Cambridge English in September 2013.
