Nikolaus Maximilian Linaric is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in credit risk management and banking. Currently serving as the Head of Credit Risk at ING since June 2022, Nikolaus previously held significant positions at various banks, including Global Co-Head of Portfolio & Pricing Management and Loans Agency at HypoVereinsbank - UniCredit - Deutschland, and as a Management Board member responsible for Corporate, Investment, and Private Banking at Zagrebačka banka. With a strong foundation in risk management gained through roles such as Chief Risk Officer at Zagrebacka banka and Divisional Risk Officer at UniCredit Bank Serbia, Nikolaus has consistently demonstrated expertise in credit operations and decision-making within credit committees. Education was obtained from the University of Vienna, where a degree in Law (Magister) was achieved.
