Francisco Quintana is an experienced professional in investment strategy and macroeconomic analysis, currently serving as Director of Investment Strategy at ING España & Portugal since April 2019. Quintana previously held positions as Senior Economist - Strategist at Foresight Advisors, where macroeconomic and financial markets analysis was provided for Burgan Bank Group, and as Head of Research at Asiya Investments/KCIC, leading research for investment decision-making across 21 countries. Earlier roles include advising the Head of Economic Affairs for the City of Madrid on economic policy and research, and contributing to macroeconomic analysis at The World Bank. Quintana's career also includes analytical work at the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Bangkok and as a Business Analyst at IBM. Advanced degrees in Public Administration, Economics, and Economic Geography support Quintana's analytical expertise.
