Mohd Mehdi has a wealth of experience in the DevOps field. Starting in 2005 as an AIX Administrator at Chrysler, they then moved to Volkswagen in 2006 as a System Specialist and was responsible for Disaster Recovery for Unix. In 2006, they joined IBM Global Services as a System Engineer and worked to build and manage a multi-million dollar infrastructure for the City of New York. In 2007, they joined Verizon Enterprise Solutions as a Technical Evangelist and Architect, and then as a Client Services Team Lead, where they won the first Automation award. In 2018, they joined Verizon Connect as a Principal and led a team to transform an old platform and technologies to modern microservices based Architecture. In 2019, they joined BlackRock as a Vice President of DevOps, where they designed and implemented secrets as a service using Hashicorp Vault. Finally, in 2022, they joined InfStones as the Head of DevOps, where they are helping to build infrastructure which is more agile, secure and scalable for its future growth.
Mohd Mehdi obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University between 1998 and 2002. Mohd then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University, graduating in 2005. In 2012, they received a Certificate in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Stanford University. Additionally, they have two certifications, an AIX Certified Systems Engineer from IBM and an AWS Cloud Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services.
