Sharon Flank has over 30 years of work experience in the technology industry. Sharon began their career in 1985 as a Language Training Supervisor at the Foreign Service Institute. In 1988, they moved to SRA International as a Director of Digital Library Technology, where they wrote SRA's first patent. In 1998, they became the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Technology at eMotion, Inc., where they managed 44 engineers, developed an R&D division, generated 6 patent applications, published papers, and gave speeches at media industry events. In 2002, they became the Owner of DataStrategy Consulting, providing technology due diligence for investors and technology strategy consulting for small businesses. Finally, in 2006, they became the CEO of InfraTrac, Inc., where they were responsible for product integrity, error-checking, anti-counterfeiting, and anti-diversion for 3D printing.
Sharon Flank received their Ph.D. in Linguistics from Harvard University in 1995. Prior to that, they earned an A.B. in College Scholar from Cornell University. Sharon also attended HGHS. In April 2020, they completed a Blueprint Digital Workshop.
