Sean Williams is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in infrastructure, transport policy, and housing economics. Currently serving as Principal Economist at Infrastructure Victoria since 2021, Sean previously held the position of Associate and Group Lead at SGS Economics and Planning, where management of a high-performing team was a key responsibility. Prior experience includes roles at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (NSW) as Transport Portfolio Lead, senior analyst at NSW Treasury, and policy analyst at Commonwealth Treasury, where contributions included the development of infrastructure financing models and housing affordability programs. Sean holds a Master of Economics from UNSW and a Bachelor of Economics from The Australian National University.
