Ajey Jacob currently serves as the Director at the Information Sciences Institute since October 2019. Prior to this role, Ajey Jacob spent over eight years at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, where responsibilities included leadership positions such as Principal Member Technical Staff and Senior Member Technical Staff in the Differentiating Technology Research Group, focusing on advanced technologies like Silicon Photonics and memory devices. Earlier experience includes various engineering and research roles at Intel Corporation and a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Iowa. Ajey Jacob holds a PhD in Physics, specializing in Micro & Nanoelectronics, from Chalmers University of Technology. Educational background also includes studies at Mar Ivanios College and Rex Higher Secondary School.
