Byron Trimble has had an extensive career in the IT industry. In 2009, they began as a Systems Administrator at ClearSky Mobile Media, where they were responsible for Systems Administration of all Production, Development and Test environments. Byron then worked as an IT Consultant at Software Resources in 2010 before joining FedEx in 2011 as a Senior Engineering Specialist. In 2016, they began working at AIG as a Production Support Engineer and TravelClick as an Application Support Engineer. The following year, they worked at FDOT as a Server Storage Engineer and Veritas Technologies LLC as a Technical Support Engineer. In 2018, they began working at StackPath as a Platform Operations Engineer - Tier 3, and in 2019 they joined Verizon Enterprise Solutions as a Server Engineering Support. Most recently, Byron Trimble began working at InfluxData as a Support Engineer in 2022.

Byron Trimble attended Georgia Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1996, where they earned a degree in Computer Science/Mechanical Engineering. Byron also attended Southern Polytechnic State University and Georgia Institute of Technology, but did not receive any degrees from either school. In addition, they took courses in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology.
