Dylan Tanner is the current Executive Director at InfluenceMap. Prior to this, they were the Founder and Managing Director of ERM Japan from January 1997 to August 2004. ERM Japan was the leading environmental services firm in Japan with a team of over 50 professionals serving multinational and Japanese firms. They provided auditing, soil clean up, climate change strategy, research, and advisory services to over 200 clients.
From January 1995 to February 1997, Dylan Tanner was also the Founder of ASIA ENVIRONMENTAL TRADING LIMITED. This was a business information and consulting services firm dealing with environmental, health and safety risks/opportunities in Asia Pacific. The company published monthly newsletters on China, Japan and Asia and provided customised research to multinational clients on Asian environmental issues affecting their business.
Dylan Tanner's educational career began with a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Birmingham. Dylan then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Quantum Field Theory from Imperial College London. After that, they completed a Master's degree in Environmental Science from the same school. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from King's College London.
