Roger A. Harris has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the fields of clean energy, technology commercialization, and project management.

Harris started their career at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where they worked as a Research Consultant and Assistant Lecturer from 1999 to 2003.

Roger A. Harris has a diverse education history. In 1995, they began their studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemical Engineering. Roger A. completed this program in 1998. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the same institution to further enhance their knowledge in the field. From 1999 to 2001, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemical Engineering. Harris then continued their academic journey by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which they completed in 2003. Several years later, in 2013, Harris attended INSEAD, where they participated in the Management Acceleration Program (MAP), focusing on Business Administration and Management, General.
