Joseph Saavedra has been working in the technology and design industries since 2007. Joseph began their career as a Research Assistant at UC Davis, followed by an Internship at the League of Electronic Musical Urban Robots (LEMUR). In 2009, they became a Teaching Fellow and Adjunct Professor at Parsons School of Design, and a Producer/Engineer at the Social Science Research Council. In 2010, they began working independently as a Hardware and Software Developer. In 2012, they became an Assistant Professor of Media Design at Parsons The New School for Design, and in 2013 they became a Partner at Incredible Machines, an experiential marketing agency. In 2016, they became a Partner at Planeta, managing product design and development teams. In 2018, they founded and became the CEO of Infinite Objects, Inc.
Joseph Saavedra received their MFA in Design and Technology from the Parsons School of Design - The New School in 2010. Joseph also completed two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of California, Davis in 2008, one in Technocultural Studies and the other in Music Composition.
