John Hustler has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and web development. John began their career in 1999 as an ASP Web Developer for Netsquared. In 2000, they moved to Scoot as a Senior Web Developer, where they developed and supported the core Scoot classified search engine. From 2002 to 2006, they worked for BT as a Web Development Technology Consultant, developing browser-based applications. In 2006, they joined Sharenow as a Web Development Team Leader, where they were responsible for website and web service development and delivery. In 2007, they became the Development Team Leader at G2 Project Marketing, leading the development of a bespoke in-house CRM system. In 2008, they worked as a Web Developer at Bloc BHF Yoobot, and as a Web Development Consultant at whatafind.com. John also held a contract position as a Consultant Web Developer at Iris Digital, where they worked on Shell worldwide and Kinder accounts. In 2009, they moved to Tes as a System Software Engineer, and in 2021, they joined Infinitas Learning Holding B.V. as a Principal Software Engineer.

John Hustler attended De Montfort University from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a BSC Hons in Computing.
