Jean Risse has over 30 years of work experience. Jean began their career in 1990 as a researcher at Océ Technologies. In 1998, they moved to Docworks as a General Manager. In 2006, they became the Chairman of 2Unite Foundation. In 2011, they joined Burke E. Porter Machinery Company as a Group Coordinator of Software Development and Engineering and a Senior Software Engineer. In 2019, they moved to Plantyn as a Software Development Manager and in 2021, they joined Infinitas Learning as a Senior Engineering Manager and a Principal Engineer.

Jean Risse completed their HEAO-BI degree in Bedrijfskundige informatica from Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven in 1992. Prior to that, they had completed their Atheneum B degree from Coriovallum College in 1983.
