Gerard van Heuveln has worked in the software engineering field since 1999. Gerard began their career as a Software Engineer at RAD. From 1999 to 2001, they were a Software Designer at Philips Research, where they wrote IC design verification tooling in C with graphical user interface in Tcl/Tk/Tix. Gerard then moved to Siemens VDO Automotive as a Software Designer, where they worked on an infotainment system and identified sequence errors when writing/reading to shared memory. In 2005, they became a CIT Debug Analist at BenQ Mobile, responsible for analysing critical software bugs in a component based system written by multiple development teams in an international setting. From 2007 to 2010, they worked at Access as a Software Engineer and at Noordhoff Uitgevers as an Application Management. Gerard then worked as a Project Manager at Infinitas Learning from 2010 to present.
