Fred Luna is an experienced engineering and operations professional with a diverse background in technical management. Currently serving as the Director of Technical Sourcing at Infinera since 2015, Fred defines and implements supplier strategies for ODM/OEM. Prior experience includes a role as Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where Fred oversaw product management and developed manufacturing capabilities for chromatography instruments. Additionally, Fred managed operations at Sun Microsystems and held various management positions at Intel Corporation, focusing on mechanical design, quality, and engineering program management for microprocessor technologies. Fred holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
