Roberto Salemme, PhD, currently serves as a Product Manager at INFICON, where responsibility lies in ensuring the market success of vacuum indirect measurement products within the Vacuum Control Products Business Unit's marketing team. Prior experience includes Project Manager Engineering at VAT GROUP, overseeing product development and innovation within the Semiconductors Business Unit, and serving as Vacuum Cryopump Engineer for the ITER Organization, where responsibilities included design and commissioning of cryogenic vacuum pumps. Previous roles also feature Project Leader for the COLD bore EXperiment at CERN, Accelerator System Engineer for the MYRRHA ADS nuclear reactor project, and an internship at CERN in applied physics. Roberto holds a Ph.D. in Accelerator Physics from Sapienza Università di Roma, along with a Master's degree in Energy Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution.
