Martin Prokeš has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2008. Their first role was as a Technical Worker at OKD, a.s. in 2008. In 2012, they moved to NetDirect s.r.o. as a Programmer. In 2014, they joined profiq as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for installation, configuration, deployment automation of web or mobile technologies, exploratory testing of new product features, and development of test specifications and test automation. Martin then moved up to become Engineering Manager and later VP of Engineering at profiq. In 2020, they joined IndyKite as a Site Reliability Engineer.

Martin Prokeš began their education in 2000 when they attended Grammar school Volgogradska. In 2008, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from VSB Ostrava. From 2012 to 2013, they earned a Master's degree in Information Technology from JAMK University of Applied Sciences. Martin also earned a Master's degree in IT/Mobile technologies from VSB - Technical University of Ostrava between 2012 and 2014.
