Amir concentrates on originating, executing, and managing secondary investments in later-stage, venture-backed companies and venture capital funds. While at Industry Ventures, he has led secondary investments in both consumer and enterprise companies, as well as limited partnership positions in venture funds across various stages and geographies. Amir also started and co-manages the firmās volunteering efforts through its non-profit initiative IV2 (āI Volunteer with Industry Venturesā).
Prior to Industry Ventures, Amir was founder and CEO of Dapper Shopping, a mobile commerce startup focused on menās retail. Previously, Amir was an investor at Summit Partners, a growth equity firm where he focused on internet, media and technology investments.
Amir received his MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA and MA from Stanford, where he played offensive line on the football team. He enjoys improv acting with his troupes Schmear Campaign and Party Gargoyle, karaoke singing, and emceeing friendsā weddings in his spare time.
