Laura Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Laura started their career at GSK in 2007 as a Physical Properties Scientist, where they conducted various characterization techniques and worked to GMP standards. In 2010, they joined Chiesi Group as a Scientist before moving on to the University of Bristol in 2011 as a PhD Student. At the University of Bristol, Laura focused on integrating magnetic functionality into fiber composite materials for use in electro-mechanical applications. Laura conducted Finite Element Analysis and investigated the feasibility of achieving optimal machine output. In 2016, Laura joined Inductosense as an R&D Engineer, where they worked until 2019 before being promoted to Production Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Operations Manager at Inductosense, a role they started in January 2022.

Laura Edwards completed their education from 2005 to 2009 at the University of Strathclyde, where they obtained an MSci degree in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry. Laura then pursued higher education at the University of Bristol from 2011 to 2017, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Engineering.
