Aaron Westre is a seasoned software engineering and creative technology professional with extensive experience in both startup and academic environments. Currently serving as the Software Engineering Team Lead at IndoorGEO, LLC, since March 2019, Aaron focuses on developing software solutions for construction document analysis. As the owner of Artificial Natures, a creative technology studio, Aaron collaborates with various professionals to enhance their creative practices. Previous roles include software developer positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, 3M, and Trane, as well as a research fellowship at the University of Minnesota, where Aaron specialized in virtual reality applications for multiple industries. With a strong foundation in various programming languages and technologies, as well as teaching experience as an adjunct instructor, Aaron has published a book on design games for architecture and has a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Minnesota.
