Anna Michalska-Falkowska, PhD, serves as Chair of the Future Conferences Task Force, a member of the Governance Committee, and a member of the Scientific Program Planning Task Force at the International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER) since May 2022. Additionally, Anna is an Associate Editor for the 5th Edition of ISBER Best Practices. Currently, Anna works as an Expert on evaluation of European Fund projects at Polska Agencja Rozwoju Przedsiębiorczości and holds the position of Deputy Director of Quality Management at Uniwersytet Medyczny w Białymstoku. Responsibilities include managing the Biobank Oncology Section and conducting training for biobank personnel. Anna has experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Medizinische Universität Graz and has held various expert roles related to biobanking and research evaluation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biobanking and a postgraduate degree in non-commercial clinical trials, among others.
