John started their career in 1986 at Sanofi, where they held various positions such as Executive Sales Representative, Senior District Manager, Regional Accounts Manager, and Director of State Healthcare Reimbursement. In 2018, they joined Indivior as a Senior Director of Government Accounts, where they worked closely with State Medicaid agencies and national healthcare organizations.

John Kirby earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management Technology from Southeastern Louisiana University from 1978 to 1983.
