Sofya Pogreb currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at BILL, focusing on automating financial operations for small businesses. In addition to this role, Sofya is a Board Member at Indigo, which aims to create an InsurTech platform for Medical Professional Liability insurance, and at Next Insurance, which seeks to revolutionize property and casualty insurance for SMBs. Previously, Sofya held the position of Chief Operating Officer at TrueAccord, where responsibilities included enhancing debt collection through analytics and machine learning. Earlier experience includes Senior Director of Americas Risk Management at PayPal, managing risk across North and Latin America, and an extensive tenure at McKinsey & Company delivering strategic consulting in Financial Services. Sofya holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as additional education from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
