Linda Nelson has worked in the film industry for over 30 years. Linda began their career in 1985 as a Senior Vice President for the Saudi Arabian Investment Company, where they were a consultant for foreign companies wanting to set up joint venture companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In 1990, they became the Vice President of Mission Insurance Group, where they were responsible for the creation and management of one of the first PC support groups in the country. In 1995, they became a Partner at Showmax/Cinegrand. In 2000, they became Co-owner of Really Big Film Corp., where they produced and distributed the Large Format/Imax type of film called NSYNC Bigger Than Live. In 2001, they became Co-Owner of Nelson Madison Films, where they were a producer, filmmaker, and distribution executive. In 2006, they became Chief Executive Officer of Indie Rights, Inc., where they helped independent filmmakers find an audience for their films. In 2007, they became a Producer at DancesWithFilms. In 2011, they became a Featured Film Producer at Prescreen. In 2015, they became a Board Member at Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles.
Linda Nelson attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1965 to 1968, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Math. Linda then attended Russell Sage College, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Math, Psychology, and Art.
