Rich Thomas has a wealth of experience in the gaming and entertainment industries, having worked in various roles since 2004. In 2004, they were a Consultant Business Development Manager for Testronic Laboratories, where they evaluated and assessed the viability of expanding the core business to include testing and QA services and facilities for the Games Publication and Development markets. From 2005 to 2006, they were Sales Manager for 10th Planet Post Production, where they organized and led a team of 6 internal sales executives and 5 store-based sales staff, expanding the business into several new profitable sectors. From 2006 to 2008, they were the Director of Games Initiative at Getty Images, where they created a new division and revenue opportunity in the previously untapped Games market. From 2008 to 2010, they were a Consultant, VP Business Development and GAMES ADVERTISING at Workshop Creative. From 2010 to 2012, they were the VP Business Development at Five by Five LA, a global ideas agency with digital at its heart. From 2018 to 2020, they were the Founder of Indie Esports League, giving Indie Game Developers 100% of their energy to help them grow their games. In 2020, they became a Partner at RTRN Strategy, a strategic marketing firm with experts from a dozen industries. Rich also served as an Advisor at EIGHTEENTWENTYSIX in 2019.

Rich Thomas attended Nottingham Trent University from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained a BA in Graphic Design & Art. Rich then attended South Notts College of Further Education from 1988 to 1993, where they received a CIPS in Business.
