Marc van Wijk has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Marc began their career at KLM, where they held various roles such as Manager Training and Development, Manager Business Support Aircraft Handling, Project Manager of Change Management, and Project Manager of Human Factors.

In 2001, Marc co-founded FCTB, an HR/IT strategy consulting boutique where they worked as a Partner. Marc was responsible for business development, sales, and people management, and also served as a consultant, program manager, and interim manager for different clients.

In 2009, Marc co-founded Indicia Talent & Performance, a full-service sales and implementation partner of SuccessFactors/SAP. Marc played a key role in the start-up of the business and continued to serve as a Director until 2011.

Marc joined Indicia in 2009 as the CFO and Bestuurder, where they delivered multidisciplinary solutions for business improvement, people performance, and innovation.

In 2012, Marc became the Director and co-founder of Iselect BV, a joint venture between Indicia and Achmea. Marc led the delivery of innovative digital solutions for modern employee benefits.

Marc also served as an Advisory Board Member for DaklaPack Europe, a group of international companies specializing in plastic packaging and fulfillment services.

In 2017, Marc took on the role of Voorzitter at Hockeyclub Naarden, a top field hockey club in the Netherlands.

Most recently, in 2020, Marc became a Bestuurder at Diverzio, where they work on making healthy, sustainable food and drink available in various industries.

Throughout their career, Marc has demonstrated expertise in finance, consulting, business development, and leadership. Marc has a strong track record of driving growth and delivering successful projects.

Marc van Wijk obtained their Master's Degree in Biomechanics and Ergonomics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) between 1988 and 1994. In 1982, they completed their secondary education at Copernicus Scholengemeenschap, where they pursued an Atheneum program. Later, in 2000 and 2001, they attended an Internet Management Class at Newcademy, focusing on E-business and innovation.
