Utpal Sen is a Mechanical Engineering student at Jorhat Institute of Science & Technology, expected to graduate in September 2025. From January 2022, Utpal has held multiple leadership roles, including President and Head of Software for the JIST Robotics Club, and Logistic Head for E-Cell JIST, while also serving as a member of various organizations such as Google DSC and the Indian Society for Technical Education. Relevant internship experience includes an industrial internship at Indian Railways focusing on Fuel Oil systems in High Horsepower Locomotives, an academic internship in CAD/CAM software SOLIDWORKS at Central Tool Room & Training Centre, and a social internship with Snehalaya in Guwahati, where Utpal conducted surveys on child labor.
