John Titkanich, Jr., ICMA-CM, currently serves as the County Administrator for the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners since April 2023. Previously, John held the position of Innovation and Performance Division Director for St. Lucie County, overseeing the management of the County's 2021-23 Strategic Plan. John has an extensive background in city management, having served as City Manager for the City of Cocoa and holding various roles within Cocoa's Community Development Department. Additionally, John has experience as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Central Florida and in economic development with the City of Orlando. John’s earlier career includes serving as an area supervisor at Wackenhut and as a sergeant in the U.S. Army's 75th Ranger Regiment. John earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University.
