Himangka Kaushik possesses extensive experience in the field of renewable energy and climate solutions, with a current role as Associate at India Climate Collaborative since November 2022. Prior to this, Himangka worked as Senior Carbon Technical Officer and Carbon Technical Officer at Microenergy Credits, focusing on clean energy solutions and carbon credits across multiple regions including India, Africa, and Mongolia, alongside expertise in CDM, Gold Standard, and VERRA standards. Experience as a Research Analyst at TERI School of Advanced Studies involved quantifying GHG mitigation potentials for urban development programs in collaboration with the Indian government. Earlier roles include project support for GIZ India in solar technology, research internships at ICF and Ladakh Ecological Development Group, and involvement with the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Himangka holds an MTech in Renewable Energy Engineering & Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies and a BTech in Petroleum Engineering from Dibrugarh University.
