Michael Solo has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Michael is currently working at Index Exchange as a Software Engineer since November 2019. Prior to that, they worked for several clients in the financial industry as a Trading Systems Engineer. In this role, they worked on high-performance products that provided programmatic access to trading data in real time. Michael also worked on large distributed service-oriented architectures with load-balancing, throttling, alerting, and monitoring. Michael has also worked at Fujitsu, where they held roles as a Software Architect, Team Leader, and Senior Software Developer. As a team leader, they managed small development teams, gathered and documented requirements, assigned tasks, and performed code reviews. Additionally, they worked at Optimal Robotics as a Software Designer and at Medicom Mtd as a software developer. At Medicom Mtd, they participated in the design of a plugin framework and developed various plugins and class libraries for medical data processing and diagnostics.

Michael Solo earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from a university between 1994 and 2000.
