Antti Viljakainen began their work experience in 2012 as an Equity Analyst at Inderes Oy. Antti then moved on to work as a Master Thesis worker at Metsä Fibre from November 2012 to June 2013. Antti also briefly served as a Shift Supervisor at Metsä Fibre from April 2012 to August 2012.

Antti Viljakainen obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Wood Science and Wood Products/Pulp and Paper Technology from Aalto University, where they studied from 2006 to 2013. In 2011, they briefly attended Politecnico di Milano, focusing on Industrial Engineering, although it is not specified whether they completed a degree there.
