Michail Kopsiaftis is a Senior Network & Security Engineer at IPTO-Independent Power Transmission Operator since October 2023, with extensive experience in network and security engineering roles at prominent companies including Nova, WIND Hellas, Athens International Airport, and Vodafone. Proficient in ensuring infrastructure availability, design and implementation of network/security solutions, and providing high-level designs for network projects, Michail has a proven track record of implementing proof of concepts (PoCs) and managing day-to-day operations encompassing MPLS, data centers, firewalls, and load balancers. Michail holds a Master of Science in Computer, Telecommunications and Network Engineering from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon and a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications from the University of West Attica, along with multiple certifications from Cisco Networking Academy.
