Kari Schramm has extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on the pet industry. Kari is currently the Director of Human Resources at IPP - Independent Pet Partners since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Regional Director of People & Operations at Banfield Pet Hospital from 2022 to 2023. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as the Director of Stores Human Resources at IPP - Independent Pet Partners. Before entering the pet industry, they worked at the American Red Cross as a Human Resource Business Partner from 2017 to 2020. Additionally, they held roles at Bed Bath & Beyond as a District Human Resources Manager and Talent Recruiter from 2015 to 2017, and at Stillwater Public Schools in a Human Resources position from 2013 to 2015. Kari has also had a long tenure at Target, where they held various roles such as Manager of the Field HR Process Team.

Kari Schramm attended the University of Minnesota from 1986 to 1990, but the degree and field of study are unknown.
