Jenifer Barr, JD, MBA has extensive experience in human resources management and regulatory compliance. Jenifer served as the Director of HR Regulatory Compliance and HR Business Partner at Independent Health starting in February 2014. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Director of Human Resources Management at Roswell Park Cancer Institute from December 2009 to February 2014, and Director of Employee & Labor Relations from May 2000 to December 2009. Their career began at the City of Buffalo in the Corporation Counsel Office and Labor Relations Office from November 1998 to May 2000.

Jenifer Barr completed their BA in Political Science and Psychology at the University of Rochester from 1988 to 1992. Jenifer then went on to pursue a JD/MBA in Labor & Employment Law and Human Resources Management at the University at Buffalo School of Law from 1992 to 1997.
