Jim Yearby has extensive experience in human resources and board leadership across various organizations. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Independent Colleges of Washington and the Kaiser Permanente Consumer Advisory Committee since 2016, Yearby has held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at United Way of King County since 2003, where responsibilities include overseeing talent acquisition, organizational design, employee development, and diversity initiatives. Yearby has also been the President of the Board of Directors at Atlantic Street Center since 2004 and previously served as a board member for Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union from 1989 to 2017. Additional human resources executive roles were held at the City and County of Denver, Washington State Ferries, and King County Metro from 1989 to 2003. Education was completed at Seattle University.
