Tim Shultz is an experienced construction professional with a career spanning several decades. Since July 2023, Tim has served as Project Superintendent at Independence Construction. Prior to this role, Tim held the same title at Turner Construction Company from November 2018, overseeing mid-rise mixed-use projects and hospitality developments. Tim’s prior experience includes project superintendent positions at Snavely Group, focusing on podium mixed-use projects as well as healthcare and education, and at Fortney & Weygandt, Inc., managing various sectors including healthcare and hospitality. Earlier career roles include Construction Manager at Anthony & Anthony Construction and Co-Owner of RT Shultz Builders, concentrating on commercial carpentry and multi-family developments. Tim began in the field as a Lead Carpenter and Carpenter on public projects. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Akron and a Carpentry Teaching Certificate from the Ohio Department of Education.
