Aaron M. Sayeb, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Independence Blue Cross since October 2022. Previously, Aaron worked as a Data Science Resident at Novartis from August 2021 to August 2022, focusing on designing deep learning and machine learning models for healthcare data and applying NLP techniques to analyze unstructured data. At the University of Florida, Aaron contributed as a Research Assistant from August 2015 to June 2021, where significant projects included developing a sub-resolution model of binary black holes and analyzing large-scale simulation data. Additionally, Aaron served as a Teaching Assistant, managing introductory physics lab sections. Educationally, Aaron holds a PhD in Astrophysics and a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Middle East Technical University, where also received a TUBITAK fellowship.
