Stephen Guo currently serves as Senior Director of Data Science at Indeed.com since August 2022. Prior to this role, Stephen held the position of Director of Machine Learning in Advertising Technology at Walmart Global Tech from January 2014 to August 2022, focusing on hiring talent in the fields of recommender systems and advertising technology. Stephen was a Junior Founder at Root-1 Research from 2008 to 2009, a company that was acquired by Edmodo in 2013. Earlier in Stephen's career, a position as a Quantitative Trader at JPMorgan Chase & Co. was held from 2006 to 2008, where Stephen developed machine learning models for quantitative electricity trading. Stephen's academic background includes a PhD candidate and Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution.
