Mica Mercé is a seasoned design leader with over 20 years of experience in user experience and interaction design. Currently serving as the VP of User Experience at Indeed since September 2018, Mica leads a global team of 200+ designers to enhance experiences for job seekers and employers. Prior to this role, Mica held several key positions at LinkedIn, including Senior Director and Director of User Experience, focusing on design direction for talent acquisition products. Mica's expertise also includes impactful roles at eBay, where responsibilities ranged from maximizing conversion rates through streamlined checkout processes to enhancing mobile user experiences. Mica's foundational experience spans positions at Synopsys and Pentagram Design, supported by a BA in Graphic Design from ArtCenter College of Design and an MS in Human Factors from San Jose State University.
