Stefan Cwik has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field. Stefan began their career in 2008 as a Junior Research Assistant at the Chair of Inorganic Chemistry II and the Chair of Theoretical Chemistry at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. In 2013, they became a Doktorant at the same institution. In 2018, they moved to Wayne State University to become a Forscher (Postdoktorand). In 2020, they began working as a Research and Development Chemist at Strem Chemicals, Inc. and in 2022, they became an ALD Scientist at Incom, Inc.

Stefan Cwik attended Ruhr University Bochum from 2005 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2009, a Master of Science in Chemistry in 2013, and a Doctorate in Chemistry in 2017.
