Michelle Merchant is a Senior Sustainability Planner at INCOG (Indian Nations Council of Governments) since June 2021, where previous roles included Sustainability Planner and Sustainability Programs Project Specialist. Prior experience includes serving as a Grant Writer for the Oklahoma Sustainability Network and Operations and Development Work Study at the Oklahoma Policy Institute. Michelle Merchant holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The University of Tulsa, where studies were completed in 2021. Additionally, Michelle participated in a Study Abroad program in Sustainable Development in Costa Rica through The School for Field Studies in early 2020 and engaged in a Rotary Youth Exchange immersion program in Finland at Hämeenlinnan lyseon lukio from August 2016 to July 2017.
