Susanne James is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management and community development. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Inclusiv since June 2022, Susanne specializes in providing impact financing to Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) to foster wealth and equity in under-invested communities. In addition, Susanne has been a Nonprofit Consultant at AJ Consults since June 2020, offering expertise in operational design, compliance, and financial management. Previous roles include Director of Operations for US Programs at Open Society Foundations and Special Projects and Operations Advisor at The John A. Hartford Foundation, along with positions as Social Innovation Fund Fiscal Coordinator at the NYC Center for Economic Opportunity/Mayor's Fund and Chief Operating Officer at both iMentor and PowerMyLearning. Susanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Dartmouth College.
