Director, People And Culture at Incite

Kate B. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Kate currently works at Incite, where they have held various roles including Director of People and Culture and Head of People and Culture. Prior to joining Incite, they owned their own consultancy called KEB Consultancy. Kate also worked at Macmillan Cancer Support as a People Development Consultant and held voluntary roles as the Our Voice National Representative and Change Recruitment Partner. Kate was also an Associate Member at European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Before that, they took a career break and traveled. Kate has also worked at Rare Recruitment, Matchstick Recruitment, Impact Creative Recruitment Ltd, Pricejamieson/Aquent Marketing Staffing, and Roberts Knight Selection Ltd in various consulting and managerial positions.

Kate B. has a diverse education history. In 2000 to 2003, they attended Cardiff University/Prifysgol Caerdydd and obtained a BSc in Criminology and Sociology. Kate also completed several modules in Criminology, Social Policy, Anthropology, Social Theory, and Crime & Criminal Justice. In 2005, they achieved an Advanced Certificate and AMRS status in Market and Social Research Practice from The Market Research Society.

In terms of professional development, Kate B. has completed various certifications and courses. These include an Introduction to Counselling Skills from The Minster Centre in 2020 and Organisational Development - An Overview from CIPD Qualifications in the same year. Kate also gained an Emergency First Aider qualification from Highfield Qualifications in 2019, which is valid until October 2022.

Additionally, Kate B. has undertaken several short courses and trainings. In 2017, they completed an Introductory Anthropology course at City Lit, as well as Child​ ​Sexual​ ​Exploitation,​ ​FGM,​ ​Forced​ ​Marriage​ ​&​ ​Honour​ ​Based​ ​Abuse courses at The Appropriate Adult Service. Kate also obtained a Foundation in Life Coaching from The Coaching Academy in the same year, and completed Introducing British Sign Language from British Sign in 2016.

Lastly, they are an Adult Mental Health First Aider certified by Mental Health First Aid England in 2019. Kate holds additional certifications such as Strengthscope Accreditation from Strengthscope® and RSPH Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid from Royal Society for Public Health, both obtained in 2023. Kate B. also has an Emergency First Aider qualification (obtained in 2019) and an Enhanced DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
