Danica Barnes is a Multimedia Specialist at Incite since January 2021, with a background in video editing and UX research from freelance work between May 2017 and December 2020. Danica completed over 400 hours of training in design thinking and user-centered design while studying UX/UI design at CareerFoundry from June 2018 to June 2019, successfully creating innovative apps such as Local Hero, Alcove, and Wordly. Prior experience includes serving as a Video Editor and Storyteller at Backstories Studio from January 2011 to May 2017, where Danica synthesized user interviews into impactful videos for major clients like Netflix and Chrysler, and crafted presentations praised by CEO Reed Hastings. Earlier roles involve film restoration at MTI Film and video editing at Alpha Dogs, Inc., where Danica played key roles in high-profile documentary projects. Danica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production from Occidental College and further studied graphic design at UCLA Extension.
