David Lifely is a seasoned Senior Structural Engineer with extensive experience in the offshore engineering sector. Currently at Inch Cape Offshore Limited since November 2022, David previously held the same title at Heerema Marine Contractors from August 2019 to November 2022, focusing on the engineering design for the transport, installation, and decommissioning of offshore structures. Prior to that, David worked as a Project Engineer at Offshore Wind Consultants Limited, where responsibilities included leading multi-disciplinary project proposals and managing offshore site investigations. Experience also includes a Senior Engineer position at DNV GL, where David specialized in structural integrity management for offshore platforms, and a Graduate Structural Engineer role at DNV GL - Oil & Gas, focusing on consultancy services for the oil and gas industry. David holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bristol, completed in 2012.
