Joost Sturtewagen has extensive experience in the IT and research sectors, currently serving as Executive Secretary and System Engineer at the Instituut voor Natuur- en Bosonderzoek since 1998, while also holding the position of Network Engineer and ICT Network Engineer at the Research Institute for Nature and Forest since 1999. Prior to these roles, Joost worked as an editor for De Gentenaar at Corelio from 1997 to 2000. Joost's educational background includes a degree in Informatica from HOGENT, attained between 1982 and 1986.
