Ward Decaestecker is a scientist with extensive experience in the biochemistry and biotechnology fields. Currently serving as Scientist II at Inari since April 2021, Ward has transitioned through roles including Scientist I and Research Associate within the company. Prior to this, Ward spent nearly five years at VIB as a PhD student, and earlier held multiple positions at CropDesign, a BASF Plant Science Company, from October 2011 to June 2016, ranging from Lab Technician to Scientist. Ward earned a PhD in Biochemistry & Biotechnology from Ghent University in May 2021, and also holds an MSc in the same field from KU Leuven, obtained in 2011. Early education was completed at Klein Seminarie Roeselare from 2000 to 2006.
